How to Install NerdyCMS

Deploy Hosting server

Deploy the hosting server that you will like to host your site on.

We recommend atleast a server with 4 CPUs and 100GB in storage.

Install NerdyCMS Script

Use the command prompt to download the NerdyCMS files to your site..

File download could take up to 5mins. After files are downloaded run the bash install prompt

Create Database

Next run the install database prompt. This will setup a database with tables on your server.

Once the database is installed people check and make sure your site is up and running by going to your domain.

Add CDN Credentials

If you would like, you can set up a CDN connection to serve your content. This process make serving video blazing fast.

Billing API code

Visit Aquete.com register and activate your account. Once your account has been aproved, please add the API and Embed code to the admin of your site.

After the codes have been saved, visit the catalog section of your site to add the pricing for subscription and wallet payments.

Download NerdyCMS

Step 1: Download the installer:

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hestiacp/hestiacp/release/install/hst-install.sh

Run Installer

Step 2: Run the installer and follow the prompts:

bash nerdy-install.sh

Download Database

Step 3: Download and install Database:

mysql -D nerdy_cms -e "source https://nerdycms.com/tengine/releases/cms-defaults.sql;"

Setup Admin

Step 4: Login to Admin and set your site:

Vist https://yoursite.com/admin/
